  Synopsis: Boom for Real: The Late Teenage Years of Jean-Michel Basquiat follows Basquiat's moving picture pre-fame and how New York City, the time, the people and the movements surrounding him formed the performer he became. Using never-past-seen works, writings and photographs, director Sara Driver, who was share of the New York arts scene herself, worked closely and collaboratively later friends and auxiliary artists who emerged from that mature: Jim Jarmusch, James Nares, Fab Five Freddy, Glenn O'Brien, Kenny Scharf, Lee Quinones, Patricia Field, Luc Sante and many others. Drawing in symbol to their memories and anecdotes, the film with uses time film footage, music and images to visually vis--vis-recreate the era, drawing a portrait of Jean-Michel and Downtown New York City -pre AIDS, President Reagan, the definite home and art booms - by now anyone was gnashing your teeth by money and take objective.
